The 3rd International Conference on Nanotechnology: Fundamentals and Applications (ICNFA'12) will be held at McGill University on August 7-9, 2012. McGill University as one of Canada's best-known institutions of higher education and one of the prominent research-intensive universities in the world is located in Montreal.
Montreal is the largest city in the province of Quebec, the second-largest city in Canada and the seventh largest in North America. It is situated in the southwest of the province of Quebec between the St. Lawrence River on its south and the Rivière des Prairies on its north. The city is named after the most prominent geographical feature on the island, a three-head hill called Mount Royal. The official language of the city is French but in the parts of Montreal where most travellers go, services are available in English as well as in French. This city which hosts the world-renowned festivals, fine restaurants, magnificent architecture, elegant shopping districts and bountiful parks was called "Canada's Cultural Capital" by Monocle Magazine and has recently been named a UNESCO City of Design. Historically, it was the commercial capital of Canada and today it continues as an important centre of commerce, aerospace, finance, pharmaceuticals, technology, design, culture, tourism, film and world affairs.
The conference will be taking place at Trottier Building in McGill University. To view a map of the McGill University Campus, please follow the link below:
